Remove payment plan
If you no longer want a payment plan to be made available, you can set its status to Inactive so that it's unavailable for selection. However, for audit purposes, you will not be able to delete the payment plan from the system. Setting a payment plan as inactive will not impact customers that have already been signed up to the plan.
An inactive main payment plan automatically means that it is not available for customer online signup.
- Select the Payment Plans tab from the top navigation bar.
- Select the required payment plan.
- In the payment plan's page, select Inactive for the Status.
- Note: If the payment plan has Customer Online Signup enabled, the URL will be removed. So although it's still marked as 'Yes', it will not be made available for customer after these changes have been saved. If you have implemented online signup for this payment plan, you should remove the URL from your website and other marketing materials to avoid having customers accessing an invalid broken link.
